![]() Bad because if someone like me (we can call me a noob) who wants to play a CCG casually, the amount of cards can be overwhelming and getting a competitive deck will take more time and/or cash. You can also move cards in different row in DoC.ĭoC also has a lot more cards than Shadow Era (like double the amount), which can be a good and a bad thing IMO. You can only attack the other hero if a horizontal row don't have any units to defend, as opposed to Shadow Era where you can attack the hero when you want. Like in DoC, you have 2 vertical row of cards to put your units, 1 for melee/flyer units the other for range/flyer. ![]() Also a nice game but seemed more "easy" to play than DoC since some mechanics aren't the same. I've also tried Shadow Era, since a friend of mine wanted to play a CCG with me and DoC wouldn't work on linux with wine. This wouldn't normally bothers me but with games like Hearthstone (even if it may looks more "casual") and Hex coming out, I don't think I want to invest in this game when the new ones are surely going to be more popular and even maybe more fun. But, like ShadowDrgn said, you either going to have to spend some money, grind a ton or deal with the fact that you won't get a competitive deck for a few months. ![]() Really cool game, liked nearly all the aspects of it. #20 Just tried this game a couple of days ago.
